Inmu - Welfare tech

The Inmu is a welfare technology product designed for people with dementia. In essence it is a small, interactive and music-playing pillow that uses touch and movement to make changes in a generative composition. The Inmu consists of a micro computer, different sensors and a small speaker enclosed in a soft pillow, and the different products have different music and interaction design programmed into them.

During my employment as sound- and interaction designer at Adaptimus Aps, I worked with both development of prototypes and finalization of products. I would compose and produce music for the Inmus and program interaction design in Max/MSP.

During the summer of 2018 I acted as lead developer on a test product that was used in a research study at DTU about the effects of adaptive music intervention for stress reduction. The results of the study can be read here.
